Haynes Motor Museum

Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford in Somerset houses the UK's largest collection of cars and bikes dating from 1885 to the present day.
The museum shop has the remedy for bored kids - with lots of fun things to keep them occupied on the rest of your journey. There are play areas for the kids too. Lots of souveniers to choose from the shop including clothing, stationery, tableware and teddies. The museum even has its own Workshop and Restoration centre so if the Jag's had a knock you can get it sorted on the way!
The museum runs a variety of events throughout the year. There's an events section on their website so you may want to plan your road trip to coincide with these. You can even get married on the premises!

Directions from A303: Take the exit towards Yarlington/South Cadbury/North Cadbury from A303. Take Chapel Road to Castle Lane. Continue to Sparkford. Turn right and continue to The Avenue. Turn right onto A359 and the museum is just a 20 seconds or so drive.
