Montacute TV Radio Toy Museum houses a vast collection of toys, books, annuals, jigsaws and games related to TV and radio programmes that will spark the childhood memories of most age groups. Alan Hicken runs the Museum and descibes the building as being like Dr. Who's Tardis - opening up to reveal a surprising number of exhibits.

Lots to see at the Museum including over 600 vintage and novelty radios and television sets and memorabilia of all sorts. All types of genre explored such as westerns, comedy, soap operas, game shows and detective series.

Lot's for the children too with exhibits dating back to the days of Andy Pandy and Muffin the Mule, right up to date with The Simpsons and Telly Tubbies. Displays and memorable scenes bring programmes to life including Mr Bean’s second hand TV and radio shop and a life size performing Homer Simpson. You can even see a life-size model of Roger Moore and the original jousting poles from the 1990s series of Gladiators.

You'll need at least an hour to explore the Museum.
